Gatsby in the garden - a magical wedding in Padstow, Cornwall - Jess & Ash

I'm just back from a weekend down south for my first ever wedding in beautiful Cornwall. It did not disappoint. And I cannot wait to go back. Tunnel Beaches wedding anyone? :)

This was very much a labour of love for Jess & Ash and their friends & family... once the decision was made to have the wedding at Jess's family home, the work started to bring the overgrown walled garden back to its former glory. Ten months, and a lot of blood sweat and tears later, they created the most magical setting for a wedding, as you will see...

It was an amazing day. The forecast looked ominous but the sun shone at all the important moments. Everything was just incredibly beautiful... the flowers, the decor in the marquee, the Claire Pettibone dress, the bridesmaids dresses, the bride (!) and of course, the setting. Ash's suit was also a bit special.

Little shout out to Tom & Chloe, one of my couples from last year and founders of Made by Wood & Wood - they made all of the beautiful signs and that epic bar. <3

Thanks to my pal Ayesha Rahman for being a fab second shooter and excellent company! xxx

Jess & Ash - I had the most wonderful day with you both and your amazing friends and family.  Truly.  Thank you for putting up with the requests for 'just one more photo' and for being so easy to work with - you were naturals in front of the camera. Have an incredible honeymoon and we'll catch up when you're back and we compare Italian food stories. :)  Lots of love. xxx
