Elegant Southwark, London wedding at The Shard - Ally & Lewis

Friday saw me head down to London for the fabulous wedding of Ally & Lewis at The Shard.  I stayed in Borough Market for the weekend and took the opportunity to meet up with some more of my London based couples on the Friday and Sunday which was really lovely.  I also got to catch up with Liz & James who were guests at the wedding - we have kept in touch but I've not seen them since their wedding in 2012.  It was SO good to see them and get some amazing Liz hugs! 

The wedding itself was beautiful and extremely emotional.  During his speech Ally's dad read out a note that she'd given him when she was really young and he had been posted abroad with work.  He kept it all that time, carefully placed in a frame.  I'm almost crying again thinking about it!   So moving.  

Loved ones from all over the world were there to share and celebrate and the youngest guest - Ally's precious 17 DAY old niece - had travelled all the way from the States (obviously assisted somewhat by her parents!).  She ALMOST stole the show... almost. :)  

Ally & Lewis... I hope the rest of the party (and the big birthday party the next day - happy 40th Lewis!) was wonderful. Thank you for being such good fun to work with.  Here are a few previews from your incredible day. xxx
