FAQ

How far in advance should we book and how many weddings do you take on?

Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular summer dates or multi-day destination weddings. For more intimate and shorter coverage weddings and elopements it’s usually less and some are very last minute. It’s always worth checking my availability!

I take on a limited number of weddings each year (around 15) and every couple and their wedding get the attention and energy they deserve. Dates, especially weekend summer dates, book up quickly. I am not able to hold a date provisionally - wedding date(s) can only be secured with a signed contract and paid booking fee.

Why do couples choose you?

With 15+ years of professional experience, I know how to capture your day so it feels effortless, elegant, and yours. My couples value quality and artistry without ego - wedding photographs that are stylish and timeless, but still feel like them. Whether it’s a destination wedding weekend in Positano or an editorial-inspired celebration at Claridges, they trust me to capture their wedding beautifully.

Will we have to pose?

Absolutely not, if you don’t want to - every couple is different. Some want pure documentary coverage with just a handful of portraits and group shots. Others love a mix of candid storytelling and editorial portraits, sometimes with a little direction, pre-planned ideas, or even mood boards. We’ll work together before and on the wedding day to find the right balance for you both, so you feel comfortable and confident.

Do you photograph weddings in Europe or further afield?

Yes - I have been photographing couples abroad for the last 15 years. Often in Europe - France, Italy, Spain, Iceland, Malta, Ireland to name a few - and as far away as New York City and Seattle in the US, Bali and Australia.

Who organises the logistics for a destination wedding?

I do all that. I’m fully insured and experienced in the extra planning that comes with destination weddings - from checking local permit requirements to scouting locations in advance. I organise my own travel and accommodation (unless you’d prefer me to stay on-site, which many couples choose so I’m on hand throughout the celebrations). My goal is to make the photography side of your wedding completely stress-free, wherever you choose to celebrate.

How would you describe your photography style?

I create authentic, documentary wedding photography with an editorial edge. That means real, candid moments - laughter, happy tears, unplanned glances - paired with magazine-worthy portraits that feel natural and stylish. I’ve photographed everything from intimate London elopements to luxury weddings in Puglia, New York City, Provence and Tuscany, always capturing the soul of the day.

Do you photograph multi-day, multicultural and non-traditional weddings?

Yes absolutely. Many of my destination weddings in Europe are multi-day celebrations, and I love capturing the full experience. Whether it’s a welcome dinner in Amalfi, a relaxed pool party in Ibiza, or a farewell brunch in Paris, I can be there for every part of your wedding so you have the complete story.

I also have experience photographing multicultural weddings with multiple ceremonies and traditions. I understand the flow of multi-day events and how to be in the right place at the right time without interrupting the atmosphere.

If your wedding is non-traditional - whether that means a sunrise ceremony, a weekend-long festival in the countryside, or a chic city-hall wedding followed by a rooftop party - I’ll work with you to create coverage that reflects your unique celebration.

Will you definitely be the one photographing our wedding day?

Yes - unless you have booked one of my associate photographer team because I was unavailable for your date.

If you book me, you get me! I won’t outsource or send an associate photographer. From our first conversation to the moment I hand over your final images, you’ll be working directly with me.

How do you do group photos and ‘couple’ portraits?

Quickly and beautifully. We’ll agree a short list of your VIPs in advance so we have the most important people captured. We do them quickly, without the need to bother all of your guests, and you can then get back to celebrating with everyone. For couple portraits, we will take a little time away but I only really need 15 minutes and then you’ll be back with your loved ones. We may also take a quick 5/10 minutes out after dinner to chase some golden light or just to have a little breather before the party kicks off. I choose the best light and setting to create images that feel relaxed, effortless, and true to you.

Are you insured and prepared for the unexpected?

Yes. I’m fully insured and use multiple professional cameras and backup gear. I have contingency plans in place for travel and weather and because I’ve been doing this for 15 years I have a huge network of talented and crucially experienced photographers that I can reach out to in case of genuine emergency.

What do we receive and when?

For a full day wedding you’ll get 500+ (often MANY more) hand edited, high-resolution images in a private online gallery that you can access anywhere in the world. A selection of previews will be ready within 2-3 days of the wedding (you choose when you want to see those - whether it’s “ASAP!!” or on/after the honeymoon. Your choice. The full gallery is usually ready within 8–10 weeks - sometimes sooner in quieter periods and longer during the peak summer months - however I will always keep you updated. I also offer modern coffee table books and fine art wedding albums.

Can we get a wedding album?

Absolutely. I design bespoke coffee table books and fine art albums using archival-quality materials, so your photographs can be enjoyed for generations. This is the most beautiful way to tell the story of your day - something tangible to pass down.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year (around 15) so I can give each of my couples, and their weddings, the care and attention they deserve. Packages are available for full day coverage UK-wide, with additional options for micro weddings, elopements and destination celebrations.
