Pre-Wedding Questionnaire

Ok… it’s that time… grab your wedding binder or open up your wedding spreadsheet… make a brew, or grab a glass of wine… it’s time to tell me all about your day.

If this looks daunting I apologise.  Some of it may not be relevant for your wedding so you can just put N/A or skip, however it is really important information that I need to be able to get the very best photography coverage for you.  So please, give me as much detail as possible. There’s a box at the very end for random info/things not covered in the form.  It all helps me to get to know you as a couple and your hopes and plans for the day.

I will be asking details about preparation locations for both of you but unless you have booked a second photographer, I cannot guarantee coverage of both. If the preparation locations are close enough together and extra time is allocated that’s no problem but you will need to decide whose preparations are the priority. I’m happy to discuss this with you both before the big day - we will organise a quick video call 7-10 days before the wedding and we can go over all the final details then and chat about any changes.

Lastly, a few quick things to remember for the morning of the wedding.

  • If you are having a make-up artist, make sure they set up with lots of room and have you facing the biggest and nicest window in the room.

  • Dress/wedding outfits - get them out of their bags and hang them up somewhere in the room… on a wardrobe, a door, in a window bay… wherever you like, I can always move them if needs be but show them off!

  • Clear the main room of clutter (or the make-up room and the room you’ll be getting dressed in) especially if you’re getting ready at home rather than a hotel room. Remove anything that you don’t want to be seen in the photographs like bags and suitcases, plastic bags, clothes over the bed etc. I can’t photoshop these things out afterwards.

  • In order to get the best pictures possible during preparations the bigger and lighter the room is, the better! Natural light is always best.
