Heaton House Farm wedding: Laura & Ste

You can’t comprehend the meaning of soul mates as an adult unless you go back in time and reminisce about the joy that you felt when you were still young with your first love, your childhood sweetheart. – Author unknown

From childhood sweethearts to husband and wife… at last

Heaton House Farm Wedding Cheshire

When Laura asked me to be her wedding photographer and said they didn’t want anyone else, I was just a teeny bit chuffed.

I have known Laura for probably 7 years now, we used to work together and after we left there was a gang of us that got together a couple of times a year. Laura also shares my love of photography and that’s meant we keep in touch…. you have a great eye by the way Laura… :)

Now it has to be said that Laura is one of the sweetest, funniest and maddest people I have ever met… and one of the most beautiful…

Laura’s legendary gurning

I had heard so much about Ste over the years and knew Laura adored him… I met him for the first time that morning and I have to say Laura, I can see why. What a truly lovely guy. Seeing you together well, it all made sense. He’s your lobster!*

Ste and his mates had all turned up bright and breezy to decorate the venue with metres and metres of bunting that one of Laura’s friends had made for her, to decorate the tables and release the goldfish (keep an eye out for them). They worked so hard… and everything looked superb.  And all this after moving out of their flat the day before the wedding…. as I said, she is quite mad.

It was an amazing day….. moody skies followed by sunshine and that incredible sunset, goldfish, hog roast (look out for Laura 'avec snout'), acoustic jamming session, the groom throwing the bouquet for the guys, an ‘I’m a Celebrity’ style Honeymoon Platter eating challenge (c/o Ste, to show everyone the kind of food they would be eating on their honeymoon), an incredible venue and a fantastic group of talented friends who just made the day extra special for Laura & Ste.

To top it all my bud Andrea Ellison agreed to come along and second shoot forme. I love it when we work together. Thank you. I will let you know when she posts her photos from the day.

Mr& Mrs Chesters – I hope you are having the most incredible time on your big fat honeymoon adventure travelling around Asia. Can’t wait to catch up when you get back. Thank you for being so much fun. xxxx
