The Ashes wedding, Staffordshire - Charlotte & Rob
This is a wedding I've been meaning to blog for a long time... well, since March. : ) It was SO awesome. I never stopped smiling all day long.... seriously I had face ache. Mainly because Charlotte & Rob never stopped grinning and that was just so infectious, everyone was totally up for it despite the rain. I fell in love with Charlotte's genuine vintage wedding dress, the bow ties a plenty, the gorgeously simple gypsophila bouquets and the beautiful venue. Not to mention Charlotte's grandmother Normie who made the best looking (and smelling) naked wedding cake. Also loved the personalised tagged Hunter wellies (Charlotte IS their VM manager!) and the fact that it was national pie week so they had Pieminister pies & mash for their wedding breakfast. All topped off with a special performance from Rob's band... and his Dad on ukulele. See I told you it was awesome.
Charlotte & Rob - you know how much I loved being a part of your day... but I want to say it again anyway. Big love to you both. Shout next time you're up this way, I miss your smiley faces. : ) xxxx
Finally huge thanks to my friend Vicky Sudbury of Tori Jayne Photography for second shooting. Vicky you were a total superstar - selfishly I'm gutted that you moved to the other side of the world as we won't get to work together again in the near future BUT so proud of you for following your dreams! Thank you. xxxx
And if you love this song too (C&R's first dance)... hit play... happy viewing.
