Festive barn wedding at The Ashes - Lisa & Jon

As Christmas creeps ever closer I have just two more weddings left now and that will be the end of another incredible year... perhaps I'll even get round to curating my 'best of 2015' blog post although I suspect it will be sometime in January.

I'm shutting up shop on Monday 21st December through to Monday 4th January and taking a well earned rest with my loved ones.  But I'll be back with a bang on the 4th as one of my favourite weddings of this year will be featured on Rock My Wedding.  :)

Before all that, here is Saturday's beautiful wedding at the Ashes... Lisa & Jon wanted a very relaxed wedding with a LOT of dancing/laughter/love and boy they got it...  there were so many wonderful people surrounding them to celebrate, the atmosphere was incredible.

Lisa is absolutely beautiful but especially so when she smiles - wow - the room just lights up.  Neither she or Jon stopped grinning, smiling and laughing all day long!  Lisa looked stunning in her vintage inspired dress from Bridal Rogue in Marylebone.  Add one very dashing groom who can dance like Timberlake and you have the dream team that is 'Grobb'.   ;-)

I have to just mention the EPIC wedding cakes and the even more epic first dance - a mash up of different songs AND dances - without doubt my favourite first dance.  Lisa & Jon had clearly rehearsed a lot... from Feeling Good to start through to Johnny Be Good, Stayin' Alive, Let's Get Ready To Rumble (earworm warning!), Jump On It by Apache and Like I Love You by JT.  All of the awesome.

And to follow?  I've Had The Time Of My Life and a seriously packed dancefloor.

It was wonderful to have one of my grooms and now friend Lee (Willo Photography) along with me to second shoot, thank you! xxx

Lisa & Jon - congratulations, lots of love and a very happy mini-moon! xxx
