Arley Hall Wedding: Joanna & Brad
A beautiful venue... the sun shining, a few whispy clouds in the sky, a gentle breeze and birdsong all around. It couldn't have been a more perfect day.
Last Sunday I was delighted to be asked to second shoot with the fabulous Zenna of Zen Photographic in Manchester. We met at a photo training weekend earlier this year and have been friends ever since, keeping in touch online in our fabulous network of like-minded togs - The Click Collective. We keep each other sane, share ideas and generally support each other. Brilliant bunch of girls.
Anyway... this is the wedding of Joanna and Brad. They met on holiday in Ibiza 'the white isle' - a true holiday romance with a fairytale ending. All the tables in the main room were named after places on Ibiza and there was a gorgeous beachy theme complete with sea shells and a message in a bottle for each guest! The colour theme was turquoise and anyone who knows me will understand how giddy that made me...
Joanna's dress was out of this world stunning... I heard a distinct gasp when she walked into the room, although that was probably me... and I tried my best not to cry during the beautiful ceremony complete with string quartet in the stunning surroundings of Arley Hall.
On a sidenote - I'm back at Arley Hall next weekend to take part in the Race For Life... and I'm thinking I may just have to take my camera... :) If anyone would like to sponsor me I'm just £20 away from my £300 fundraising target!
I was only at the wedding for a few hours to get the groom & groomsmen photos (a bunch of very handsome chaps who all looked extremely dapper!) and informal shots of guests mingling, laughing, catching up - I loved every single second. Here are some of my favourites from the day. xxx
