Wedding at Manchester Town Hall and Room Restaurant, Manchester - Lindsey & Chris sneak previews

My third and final wedding of the weekend was this beauty in Manchester and despite the rain it has to be one of my favourites.  The people, the venues, the atmosphere, the music and of course, the couple.  It was just such a brilliant day. Lindsey & Chris - I'm gutted it's over!  Keep in touch and have the most incredible time in New York.... I'm so envious of you seeing it for the first time.  It's my favourite city on earth and I know you'll love it.

My NYC tips would be - Top of the Rock; Battery Park & Staten Island Ferry; Grand Central Station & Pershing Square Cafe (right outside); Bryant Park chilling/people watching; Hill Country BBQ on West 26th Street (if you like meat and plenty of it); espresso martinis or any other cocktail at 'Upstairs' (roof terrace bar at The Kimberley Hotel); Serendipity 3 on East 60th Street (as camp as Christmas but the food is yummy and it's a bit magical... the frozen hot chocolate was worth the visit alone).  I would also say hot dogs & Wonder Wheel at Coney Island but it's a bit of a way out for your first trip - best save that til next time!
