Kilhey Court Hotel Wedding: Gill & Steve

So in April I got the chance to second shoot for my good friend and wedding photographer extraordinaire Andrea Ellison Photography. I was nervous.  I've done weddings on my own but never as a second shooter.  I was very conscious of getting in Andrea's way and generally cramping her style!

Anyway I needn't have worried because it was a fantastic day.  The happy couple, Gill & Steve, and their wonderful friends and family were all brilliant and Andrea, thank you again, I learned so much and who better to teach me than the best. I had been dying to use my chalkboard so I pestered Andrea to see if she would mind me bringing it... she didn't.  Turned out Gill & Steve had a wee secret!  So we found a hidden spot in the gardens and got a couple of cheeky shots.  :)

When Gill first told us that she was pregnant and that Steve would be announcing it to everyone in his speech, both Andrea and I filled up.... so you can imagine what we were like when he told all their family and friends.  Not a dry eye in the house.  It was just perfect.  So happy for you - congratulations again!  (Andrea - can I second shoot the bubba's newborn photos too?!!)
